This rug is amazing!! I had a really expensive, thick one, but since unexpectedly aquiring TWO dogs in June, we've had our fair share of accidents on there and it was just disgusting and impossible to clean the deep pile properly. THIS rug isn't as thick but it's extremely soft and a fraction of the price of my old one, so wasn't expecting much but I ADORE it; especially since ANOTHER accident on the rug a few days ago - I stuck it in the washing machine on a 30 degree wash and then on a low heat in the tumble drier and it's as good as new again. So perfect for a family like ours where your husband is incapable of taking his shoes off at the door, your children spill any food or drink they have, and your dogs just spontaneously poo and wee, despite having the patio door open most of the time. No, it won't be as thick or heavy as one from John Lewis, but it's a million times more practical!
